Beware of
room block pirates!

Note: Exhibitors have reported being contacted by a company called Global Travel Partners. This is a scam service. Please refer to the information below and DO NOT book your reservations through this or any other company that calls you directly. We request that you contact VDF management if you have received a call from this or any other third-party room booking company.

Unofficial housing companies use various tactics to woo meeting attendees to book outside the official room block, which can result in VDF being required to pay costly attrition fees! Sham housing companies that contact attendees and exhibitors after meeting registration opens with fraudulent offerings of hotels rooms (sometimes at rates discounted from what’s posted on the meeting’s official website), requests for credit card information for previously made reservations, or pushes to book through them immediately. Typically the company claims that the meeting’s room block is nearly sold out but they can get the attendee a good rate at an overflow hotel or one outside the room block. These pirated rooms usually come with a large cancellation fee, so even if the attendee or exhibitor figures it out—or the association becomes aware of the scam—it can be too little, too late. VDF will let you know via the website if the room block is full and we will list alternative options for hotel reservations at that time.





The 2016 VDF will be held at The Hilton Minneapolis & Conference Center

The Hilton Minneapolis is SOLD OUT

The VDF rooming block at the host hotel, The Hilton Minneapolis, is sold out. Unfortunately, due to the 2016 Ryder Cup Tournament occurring over the same dates, VDF is unable to secure additional rooms at this facility or an overflow facility. The Ryder Cup, a city-wide event, was unfortunately booked over the same dates as our meeting after VDF secured this facility and location. This city-wide event has produced a rooming shortage in the area which is driving prices for local hotels quite high if rooms are even available.

We are told some availability is showing at hotels in adjacent areas 15-20 minutes away from the downtown area. Information about parking will be provided closer to the meeting date for those who need to drive in. We apologize for this unavoidable and unfortunate inconvenience.

*Valet: $23 - $27 per day


Attendees who wish to utilize off-site parking can take advantage
of the Minneapolis Skyway System


Group rate: $199++ (single/double)
Check-in time is 3:00pm, check-out time is 12:00pm.
